Good staff, good room

The television was a good screen but very few channels to watch and a poor remote control. That was my only complaint

Nice and clean, comfy bed and pillows. Receptionists was friendly and helpful.

The light switch pad was hard to read too small, if you had poor eyesight it would be very difficult to use, we had to put our touch on our phones to see it.

Simple check in, comfortable room. Good rate. Pleasant staff when talking to them.

Smaller room than expected. Staff were very relaxed in appearance, and casual when on reception. (Bag on floor, leaning full strech) Didn't feel professional, and first impression (better impression when talking with them). And those light switches in the bedroom. Ever tried to operate them in the dark? Pointless, as you could turn on ANY of the lights waking your partner. Had to sleep with the bathroom light on to find it at night.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location ideal for the event we attended locally. Windows very soundproofed so couldn’t hear any traffic noise. Good storage in room. Bed comfortable. Interesting array and choice of lighting in room. Good to have cooked breakfast included.

More extensive choice of tea in bedroom and at breakfast eg Earl Grey tea would have been nice. There was a very sophisticated control panel for the various lights which was so tiny we struggled to read it. Great idea in theory but needs to be a bit bigger so writing is easier to read.
